I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a Masters in Psychology and the way I work follows an Integrative Model, which means that I draw on a number of different schools and perspectives depending on what feels most helpful.
Currently, I am offering long term psychotherapy and short term counselling, where we can focus our work on a more specific area.
I am committed and passionate about the therapeutic process, and truly believe it can help you overcome your difficulties and change your life.
In addition to my private practice, I have experience working for charitable organisations and the NHS. Recently I have been working on an honorary basis for South London and Maudsley Trust at The Maudsley Hospital, offering psychodynamic psychotherapy for patients with complex presentations.
I am an Accredited Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), which means that I abide by the ethical principles and guidelines laid down by these governing bodies which regulate the practice of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
BSc Hons degree in Integrative Counselling approved by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).
Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, approved by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). Theories included Psychodynamic and Existentialism.
Masters of Science in Psychology.
I believe it is important to keep learning, and regularly attend workshops and seminars to continue with my professional development.
